The 2009 season of Bass Edge television gets out of the gates early with its first episode on the Outdoor Channel airing on New Year’s Day. January’s shows take viewers on a wild ride, from the North Country in Minnesota to the swamps of Louisiana, out west to California and deep in the heart of Texas. It all kicks off with an exciting sight-fishing adventure in Indiana. A lot was learned and fun was had by all. Don’t miss any of these great episodes.

Lake Patoka sight fishing with James Niggemeyer

B.A.S.S. Elite angler James Niggemeyer joins Bass Edge host Aaron Martin on this Indiana Lake for some exciting sight-fishing action. Travis Rulle goes in depth on dock fishing and Mike Webb adds some advice on fishing small bodies of water. Dr. Jay McNamara discusses the importance of working with fishing partners.

Cajun Coast tidal challenge with Denny Brauer

Bass fishing legend Denny Brauer joins Bass Edge in the swamps around Morgan City, La., as he and host Aaron Martin take on high water in this tidal fishery. Travis Rulle will be along with some tips for selecting the right jig trailers, and Dr. Jay McNamara discusses the importance of focusing while on the water. Mike Webb is back to look at jig head designs and their application.

Western gunslinger Jamie Cyphers shows us a swimbait trick that bass cannot resist, and the Pond Boss, Bob Lusk, explains the importance of understanding the bass habits.

Elite pro, Mark Tucker explains when and why to back reel and Mike Webb offers some valuable information on fishing tubes.

FLW angler Sean Hoernke and host Aaron Martin hit “Big Sam” just right. The topwater action is furious and the guys have a blast.
