If you replace only one hook on a crank bait with a red hook

Question:
If you replace only one hook on a crank bait with a red hook, should you put that hook on the front or rear of the bait?

Answer:
There are no set rules when adding the red hooks to a bait, but I prefer to add the red hook to the front of the bait.  If the red hook theory is correct, bass strike at the red area.  I would like the bass to strike at the entire lure, not just the tail end.

Good luck!
