Texas Bass Classic
A good time was had by all at the Toyota Texas Bass Classic held April 18-20 on Lake Fork. Bass Edge’s Aaron Martin, Don Hertz and Steve Brigman were joined by Ditch Witch’s Spencer Campbell, Connie Hight, Corey Smith, Amber Proctor and Leslie Weaver at the event. Bass Edge and Ditch Witch shared a booth on the tournament grounds.
The Texas Classic is a tournament held each year by the Professional Anglers Association where members compete for $1 million in a team format. Hometown favorite Kelly Jordon led his team to victory with an incredible total of 54 fish that weighed 228 pounds.
“What a great event,” Hertz said. “It was so much fun to visit with Texas bass fans and spend time with our friends at Ditch Witch. I can’t wait until next year.”
The Ditch-Witch wrapped boat that Bass Edge is filmed in was on hand as well as Ditch Witch’s Zahn R230 with dumper, Zahn R300 with high lift loader and SK350 with trencher.
